Bergell

Just some pictures from a beautiful weekend. We stayed in Maloja, hiked along the panoramic "sentiero" of the Bergell and visited the very picturesque village of Soglio. And of course had a grilled "Cervelat" for lunch...

Wonderful spring hike ;-)

Last weekend we went on our first hike this year. For some reason we expected dry meadows where you can lie down and sleep during the break, but for sure no snow as the Pragelpass (between Glarus and Muotathal) is only 1500 meters above sea level. When we had to cross the rests of an avalanche blocking the street, we continued joking about all the people we met carrying snow shoes. And when we saw people on skis, we thought we are in a James Bond movie. But soon we realised that all this people with snow shoes had a reason for carrying them.... But we decided, our way of doing the hike was much more fun...We had to guess where the signs for the hiking route are (as they were mostly underneath the snow) and we decided that walking on snow with normal hiking boots must be very good anti-cellulites training...Anyway, the whole day was brilliant and a lot of fun. Even though we had a swimmingpool inside our boots at the end of the day! The Klöntal is really worth a visit!

Surrealistischer Kafka

Fränzi und ich waren gestern im Schaulager in Basel. Michael von Graffenried sprach über ein Bild von Jeff Walls. Kunstdiskussionen können ja so abstrakt sein. Surrealistischer Kafka und so. Spannend fand ich vor allem, dass von Graffenried viel über sich, seine Sicht der Fotografie und seine Bilder gesprochen hat. Wer seine Arbeiten nicht kennt, schaut es euch unbedingt mal an!

I just have another suggestion. Patrick Wolf. A young singer from Great Britain with a brilliant voice. Have to warn you, it is very strange. I was doing work in the plant room listening to it, and everyone entering the room, just stared at me. I could not really figure out what they were actually thinking...But I like it very much.
